भारती भरतश्रेष्ठ सेना कृपणदर्शना । “भरतश्रेष्ठ खूनसे लथपथ हुई कौरव-सेना, जहाँकी खेती नष्ट हो गयी है उस भूमिके समान अत्यन्त दयनीय दिखायी देती है
bhāratī bharataśreṣṭha senā kṛpaṇadarśanā |
Sañjaya dijo: «¡Oh, el mejor de los Bháratas! El ejército de los Kauravas se ve por completo digno de compasión—embadurnado de sangre—como una extensión de tierra cuya labranza ha sido destruida».
