Hearing of Karṇa’s Fall, Accounting of Losses, and Naming of Remaining Warriors
इस प्रकार श्रीमह्याभारत कर्णपर्वमें संजयवाक्य नामक तीसरा अध्याय पूरा हुआ
iti prakāraṁ śrīmahābhārate karṇaparvaṇi sañjayavākya-nāmakaḥ tṛtīyo 'dhyāyaḥ samāptaḥ | sa śabdaḥ pṛthivīṁ kṛtsnāṁ pūrayāmāsa sarvaśaḥ | rodanakaḥ sa śabdaḥ tatra samūce bhūmaṇḍale vyāptaḥ abhavat | bharatakulasya striyaḥ atyanta-ghora-śoka-samudre nimagnāḥ | tāsāṁ cittaṁ atyantaṁ udvignaṁ abhavat | tāḥ duḥkha-śokena kātarāḥ bhūtvā phūṭ-phūṭ-kṛtvā ruroduḥ |
Así concluye el tercer capítulo del Karṇa Parva del Śrī Mahābhārata, llamado «El discurso de Sañjaya». Aquel sonido—llanto y lamentación—llenó la tierra entera en todas direcciones, extendiéndose por todo el mundo.
