एतस्मिन्नन्तरे चैनं श्रुतकीर्तिमहायशा: । नवत्या जगतीपालं छादयामास पत्रिभि:,इसी बीचमें महायशस्वी श्रुतकीर्तिने नब्बे बाणोंसे भूपाल चित्रसेनको आच्छादित कर दिया
etasminn antare cainaṁ śrutakīrtimahāyaśāḥ | navatyā jagatīpālaṁ chādayāmāsa patribhiḥ ||
Sañjaya dijo: En aquel mismo instante, el muy renombrado Śrutakīrti cubrió al rey Citraseṇa con una lluvia de noventa flechas, como si lo envolviera por completo.
संजय उवाच

During the battle, the famed warrior Śrutakīrti attacks King Citraseṇa, striking him with ninety arrows in quick succession, effectively ‘covering’ him with missiles.
