न शस्त्रेण न वज्ेण नाग्निना न च वायुना | नचार्द्रेण न शुष्केण त्रसेन स्थावरेण च
na śastreṇa na vajreṇa nāgninā na ca vāyunā | na cārdreṇa na śuṣkeṇa traseṇa sthāvareṇa ca ||
Vyāsa dijo: «Ni con arma, ni con rayo; ni con fuego, ni con viento; ni con lo húmedo, ni con lo seco; ni con lo móvil, ni con lo inmóvil—con nada de ello podrá nadie herirte mientras mi gracia te ampare. Cuando llegues al campo de batalla, te volverás aún más poderoso que yo.»
व्यास उवाच
The verse teaches the power of protective grace: when a higher moral-spiritual protection is affirmed, fear of external forces—weapon, element, or creature—falls away, strengthening resolve to act rightly in a perilous duty.
Vyāsa reassures the addressed person that no form of harm—whether from weapons, natural elements, or living beings—can touch them under his grace, and that upon entering the battlefield their strength will increase greatly.
