सारथिं दयितं राज्ञ: पाण्डवस्य महात्मन: । नरेश्वर! उन्होंने तीन बाणोंद्वारा महात्मा पाण्डुपुत्र राजा युधिष्ठिरके प्रिय सारथि इन्द्रसेनको उसके ललाट-प्रदेशमें चोट पहुँचायी

sārathiṁ dayitaṁ rājñaḥ pāṇḍavasya mahātmanaḥ | nareśvara! tair tribhir bāṇair mahātmā pāṇḍuputro rājā yudhiṣṭhira-priya-sārathim indrasenaṁ tasya lalāṭa-pradeśe kṣatam akarot ||

Sanjaya dijo: ¡Oh señor de los hombres! Indrasena, el amado auriga del rey pándava de gran alma—querido de Yudhiṣṭhira—fue herido en la frente por tres flechas.
