द्रोणपर्व — पञ्चदशोऽध्यायः (Droṇa Parva, Chapter 15): युधिष्ठिर-रक्षा तथा अर्जुनस्य शरवृष्टिः
सौभद्रो5प्यशनिप्रख्यां प्रगृह्ा महतीं गदाम् । एह्टोहीत्यब्रवीच्छल्यं यत्नाद् भीमेन वारित:
Saubhadro 'py aśaniprakhyāṁ pragṛhya mahatīṁ gadām | eho hīty abravīc chalyaṁ yatnād bhīmena vāritaḥ ||
Dijo Sañjaya: Abhimanyu, hijo de Subhadrā, avanzó también, alzando una maza inmensa, semejante a un rayo. Gritando: «¡Ven! ¡Ven!», desafió a Śalya. Pero Bhīmasena, con gran esfuerzo, lo contuvo—mostrando que aun en la furia del combate, el valor debe regirse por la disciplina y el orden del enfrentamiento.
