द्रोणपर्व — पञ्चदशोऽध्यायः (Droṇa Parva, Chapter 15): युधिष्ठिर-रक्षा तथा अर्जुनस्य शरवृष्टिः
पट्टै्जाम्बूनदैर्बद्धा बभूव जनहर्षणी । प्रजज्वाल तदा5<5विद्धा भीमेन महती गदा
paṭṭair jāmbūnadair baddhā babhūva janaharṣaṇī | prajajvāla tadā viddhā bhīmena mahatī gadā ||
Dijo Sañjaya: «Ceñida con láminas de oro Jāmbūnada, la gran maza se volvió deleite de los guerreros. Cuando Bhīma la hizo girar y la lanzó al golpe, ardió como fuego, encendiendo júbilo y ardor marcial en el corazón de los héroes.»
