ततः पुनर्व्यात्तमुखास्ते5श्मवृष्टी: समनन््ततः । अयोहस्ता: शूलहस्ता दरदास्तड्रणा: खसा:
tataḥ punar vyāttamukhās te ’śmavṛṣṭīḥ samanantataḥ | ayohastāḥ śūlahastā daradās taṅgaṇāḥ khasāḥ |
Sañjaya dijo: Entonces, una vez más, aquellos feroces guerreros—con la boca abierta de ira—comenzaron a arrojar piedras desde todos los flancos. Con mazas de hierro en mano y tridentes en alto—Daradas, Taṅgaṇas y Khasas—cerraron el cerco en torno a Sātyaki. Pero Sātyaki, diestro en el contraataque, los hizo pedazos y los abatió con sus flechas agudas.
