sañjaya uvāca | bhojatas tu kṣata-sarvāṅgo bhīmasenena māriṣa | raktāśoka ivotphullo vyabhrājata raṇājire ||

Translation

Dijo Sañjaya: Oh venerable rey, Kṛtavarmā de la estirpe Bhoja, con todo el cuerpo desgarrado y herido por Bhimasena, resplandecía en el campo de batalla—empapado en sangre y aun así imponente—como un aśoka rojo en plena floración.
