भीष्मस्य भीमसेन-निरोधः
Bhīṣma checks Bhīmasena; matched engagements intensify
पृथिवी निर्भया देव त्वत्प्रसादात्ू सदाभवत् । तस्माद् भव विशालाक्ष यदुवंशविवर्धन:,देव! आपके ही प्रसादसे पृथ्वी सदा निर्भय रही है, इसलिये विशाललोचन! आप पुनः पृथ्वीपर यदुवंशमें अवतार लेकर उसकी कीर्ति बढ़ाइये
pṛthivī nirbhayā deva tvatprasādāt sadābhavat | tasmād bhava viśālākṣa yaduvaṁśavivardhanaḥ ||
Dijo Bhīṣma: “¡Oh Señor!, por tu gracia la tierra ha permanecido siempre libre de temor. Por ello, ¡oh de anchos ojos!, vuelve a ser el acrecentador de la estirpe de Yadu: nace de nuevo en la tierra y aumenta su renombre.”
