Adhyāya 41 — Yudhiṣṭhira’s Gurv-anumati and Strategic Counsel (युधिष्ठिरस्य गुर्वनुमतिः)

¡Oh Arjuna!

All embodied beings, regardless of their form or mode of birth, arise from a single cosmic process: Prakṛti is the universal womb (material matrix), and the Lord is the seed-giving father (conscious, initiating cause). This vision supports ethical conduct by reducing pride, hostility, and divisive thinking.
In the Bhagavad Gītā discourse on the battlefield, the Lord explains to Arjuna the origin of living beings through the conjunction of the material principle (Prakṛti) and the divine/conscious principle, grounding spiritual instruction in a comprehensive account of creation and embodiment.
