Adhyāya 41 — Yudhiṣṭhira’s Gurv-anumati and Strategic Counsel (युधिष्ठिरस्य गुर्वनुमतिः)
इस ज्ञानको आश्रय करके* अर्थात् धारण करके मेरे स्वरूपको प्राप्त हुए पुरुष सृष्टिके आदिमें पुनः उत्पन्न नहीं होते और प्रलयकालमें भी व्याकुल नहीं होते+ ।।
mama yonir mahad brahma tasmin garbhaṁ dadhāmy aham | sambhavaḥ sarva-bhūtānāṁ tato bhavati bhārata ||
«Mi seno es el gran Brahman (Prakṛti); en él deposito la semilla. De esa unión, oh Bhārata, surge el origen de todos los seres». En clave ética, el verso sitúa toda vida en una única fuente arraigada en lo divino, inspirando humildad, reverencia por la existencia y responsabilidad en la acción aun bajo la presión de la guerra.
