सम्बन्ध-- इस प्रकार कर्मयोगके वर्णनकी प्रस्तावना करके अब उसका रहस्यपूर्ण महत्त्व बतलाते हैं-- नेहाभिक्रमनाशो<स्ति प्रत्यवायोः न विद्यते । स्वल्पमप्यस्य धर्मस्य त्रायते महतो भयात्
nehābhikramanāśo 'sti pratyavāyo na vidyate | svalpam apy asya dharmasya trāyate mahato bhayāt ||
En esta senda de acción disciplinada (karma-yoga), ningún comienzo sincero se pierde, ni engendra una caída moral contraria. Incluso una mínima práctica de este dharma protege del gran temor—sobre todo del pavor existencial ligado al renacer y morir repetidos—al aquietar la mente y alinear la acción con la rectitud.
संजय उवाच
Karma-yoga is a safe and cumulative discipline: sincere effort is never wasted, it does not produce a harmful ‘reverse’ result, and even limited practice powerfully protects the practitioner from profound existential fear by grounding life in dharma.
