अयनेषु च सर्वेषु यथाभागमवस्थिता: । भीष्ममेवाभिरक्षन्तु भवन्त: सर्व एव हि,“इसलिये सब मोर्चोपर अपनी-अपनी जगह स्थित रहते हुए आपलोग सभी नि:संदेह भीष्मपितामहकी ही सब ओरसे रक्षा करें”
ayaneṣu ca sarveṣu yathābhāgam avasthitāḥ | bhīṣmam evābhirakṣantu bhavantaḥ sarva eva hi ||
Dijo Sañjaya: «Por tanto, todos vosotros—apostados en cada sector según la parte que os corresponde—debéis, sin falta, proteger a Bhīṣma, y sólo a Bhīṣma, por todos los flancos.»
संजय उवाच
The verse emphasizes disciplined duty in a collective enterprise: each warrior must hold their assigned position and prioritize the protection of the leader, since coordinated order and loyalty to command are essential for the army’s stability.
In the battlefield briefing, Sañjaya reports the instruction that all fighters should remain deployed across all fronts according to their roles and ensure Bhīṣma is guarded from every side, making his safety the central tactical priority.
