सा वध्यमाना समरे पाण्डुसेना महात्मभि: | भ्राम्यते बहुधा राजन् मारुतेनेव नौर्जले
sā vadhyamānā samare pāṇḍusenā mahātmabhiḥ | bhrāmyate bahudhā rājan māruten eva naur jale ||
Dijo Sañjaya: «Oh Rey, como una barca sobre el agua es arremolinada cuando la golpean las ráfagas del viento, así también el ejército de los Pāṇḍavas—acosado en la batalla por aquellos guerreros de gran alma—cayó en confusión y vagó en muchas direcciones».
