यदेक: समरे पार्थान् सार्जुनानू समयोधयत् । न चैनं पाण्डवा युद्धे वारयामासुरुल्बणम्
sañjaya uvāca |
yad ekaḥ samare pārthān sārjunānū samayodhayat |
na cainaṃ pāṇḍavā yuddhe vārayāmāsur ulbaṇam ||
Sañjaya dijo: «Cómo fue que, en lo más recio de la batalla, él solo combatió contra los hijos de Pṛthā junto con Arjuna, y aun así los Pāṇḍavas no pudieron contener a aquel guerrero feroz en la lucha».
