Adhyāya 90: Babhruvāhana’s Reception and the Commencement of Yudhiṣṭhira’s Aśvamedha
धर्ममेव गुरु ज्ञात्वा तृष्णा न गणिता त्वया । “जब मनुष्यमें दानविषयक रुचि जाग्रत् होती है
dharmam eva guruṁ jñātvā tṛṣṇā na gaṇitā tvayā |
Dijo el suegro: «Reconociendo sólo al dharma como suprema autoridad, no contaste ni siquiera la sed como algo. Cuando en una persona despierta la inclinación a dar, su dharma no mengua. Has tenido al dharma por más alto que el apego a la esposa y el cariño al hijo, y por él has considerado el hambre y la sed como cosa despreciable».
