Marutta’s Sacrifice and Agni’s Embassy (मरुत्त-यज्ञे दूतत्वम्)
यदर्थ मां प्राहिणोत् त्वत्सकाशं बृहस्पतिं परिदातुं मरुत्ते । अयं गुरुर्याजयतां नृप त्वां मर्त्य सन््तममरं त्वां करोतु
yadarthaṁ māṁ prāhiṇot tvatsakāśaṁ bṛhaspatiṁ paridātuṁ marutte | ayaṁ gurur yājayatāṁ nṛpa tvāṁ martya san tam amaraṁ tvāṁ karotu ||
Agni dijo: «Escucha, oh Marutta, el propósito por el cual fui enviado a ti. Él desea, por mi conducto, poner a Bṛhaspati ante tu presencia. Ha declarado: “Este es tu gurú; que él oficie tu sacrificio, oh rey. Aunque eres un hombre mortal, que él te haga alcanzar el estado de lo inmortal.”»
