राजपूजाविधानम् / Royal Reception Protocols during Āśvamedha Preparations

प्रद्युम्न इव गोविन्द विनयेनोपतस्थिवान्‌ । इसी प्रकार वह भूपाल प्रद्युम्नकी भाँति विनीत भावसे शंख-चक्र-गदाधारी भगवान्‌ श्रीकृष्णकी सेवामें उपस्थित हुआ

vaiśampāyana uvāca | pradyumna iva govinda vinayenopatasthivān |

Dijo Vaiśampāyana: Con humilde disciplina, aquel rey se acercó y quedó al servicio de Govinda, tal como lo haría Pradyumna: presentándose con reverencia ante Śrī Kṛṣṇa, portador de la caracola, el disco y la maza. La escena subraya el ideal ético de que la verdadera realeza no se muestra solo por el poder, sino por la mesura cortés y el servicio devoto al Señor justo.
