Uttarā’s Lament and the Revival of Abhimanyu’s Son by Krishna’s Truth-Act
ततः स प्राविशत् तूर्ण जन्मवेश्म पितुस्तव । अर्चितं पुरुषव्याप्र सितैर्माल्यैर्यथाविधि,पुरुषसिंह! तदनन्तर भगवान् श्रीकृष्ण तुरंत ही तुम्हारे पिताके जन्मस्थान-- सूतिकागारमें गये; जो सफेद फूलोंकी मालाओंसे विधिपूर्वक सजाया गया था
tataḥ sa prāviśat tūṛṇaṃ janmaveśma pitus tava | arcitaṃ puruṣavyāghra sitair mālyair yathāvidhi ||
Luego entró con presteza en la cámara del nacimiento de tu padre (la sala de parto), oh tigre entre los hombres. Había sido debidamente honrada y adornada conforme al rito con guirnaldas blancas, señalando la santidad del lugar y la cuidadosa observancia de las costumbres propicias.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse underscores dharma as careful observance of auspicious and purificatory rites: sacred spaces—especially those connected with birth—are to be approached with reverence, cleanliness, and proper ritual order, reflecting ethical respect for life and lineage.
Vaiśampāyana narrates that Śrī Kṛṣṇa quickly enters the father’s birth-chamber (lying-in room), which has been properly decorated with white garlands according to ritual prescription, indicating a solemn, sanctified setting for what follows.
