Parīkṣit-janma-saṃkaṭa and Kuntī’s petition to Vāsudeva (परिक्षिज्जन्मसंकटं कुन्त्याः प्रार्थना च)
उद्धारयामास तदा धर्मराजो युधिष्ठिर: । तेषां रक्षणमप्यासीन्महान् करपुटस्तथा,धर्मराज युधिष्ठिरने उस समय उन सब बर्तनोंको भूमि खोदकर निकलवाया। उन्हें रखनेके लिये बड़ी-बड़ी संदूर्कें लायी गयी थीं
uddhārayāmāsa tadā dharmarājo yudhiṣṭhiraḥ | teṣāṃ rakṣaṇam apy āsīn mahān karapuṭas tathā ||
Entonces Dharmarāja Yudhiṣṭhira mandó excavar y sacar de la tierra aquellos objetos. También dispuso su custodia, proveyendo grandes arcas para guardarlos con seguridad—mostrando el deber del rey de preservar los bienes confiados y mantener una administración ordenada conforme al dharma.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
A ruler guided by dharma does not merely acquire or recover goods; he ensures their proper custody and protection. Ethical governance includes responsible stewardship—securing what has been retrieved and preventing misuse or loss.
Vaiśampāyana narrates that Yudhiṣṭhira arranged for certain items to be dug out from the ground and then safeguarded them by placing them into large chests/containers for secure keeping.
