नावं न शक्यमारुह्ु स्थले विपरिवर्तितुम्‌ । तथैव रथमारुहा नाप्सु चर्या विधीयते

Transliteration

nāvaṁ na śakyam āruḍhuṁ sthale viparivartitum | tathaiva ratham āruhyā nāpsu caryā vidhīyate |

Translation

Dijo Vāyu: «Así como no es posible subir a una barca y luego moverse por tierra firme, y así como no es posible subir a un carro y hacerlo viajar sobre el agua, del mismo modo las diversas acciones realizadas por los seres conducen a destinos distintos. En este mundo, según la clase de acto que una persona haya hecho, así obtiene el resultado correspondiente.»
