नारद उवाच
This line is a colophon rather than a doctrinal verse: its function is to mark the completion of a chapter devoted to the Brāhmaṇa-gītā theme within the Anugītā. The implied pedagogical point is structural—signaling that a unit of ethical-spiritual instruction has concluded and the text is moving onward.
The speaker label indicates Nārada, but the sentence itself serves as an editorial/narrative closure: it announces that the twenty-fourth chapter on the Brāhmaṇa-gītā topic in the Anugītā portion of the Aśvamedhika Parva has ended.
