Pitṛ-śrāddha-haviḥ-phala-nirdeśa

आग्नेयस्त्वंगिरा: श्रीमान्‌ कविर्राह्मो महायशा: । भार्गवांगिरसौ लोके लोकसंतानलक्षणौ

Transliteration

āgneyas tv aṅgirāḥ śrīmān kavir brāhmo mahāyaśāḥ | bhārgavāṅgirasau loke lokasantānalakṣaṇau ||

Translation

Dijo Vasiṣṭha: «Aṅgiras, radiante e ilustre, llegó a ser conocido como Āgneya; y el vidente de gran fama fue celebrado con el nombre de Brāhma. Bhṛgu y Aṅgiras—estos dos son descritos en el mundo como las fuentes que definen los linajes, ensanchando la creación por medio de su descendencia».
