सुकुमारौ च तौ विद्धौ कराभ्यां मुनिसत्तम: । पस्पर्शामृतकल्पाभ्यां स्नेहाद्‌ भरतसत्तम

Transliteration

sukumārau ca tau viddhau karābhyāṃ munisattamaḥ | pasparśāmṛtakalpābhyāṃ snehād bharatasattama ||

Translation

Dijo Bhishma: «El más excelso de los sabios, al ver heridos a aquellos dos seres tan tiernos, los acarició suavemente con ambas manos—manos tan reconfortantes como el néctar—movido por una compasiva ternura, oh el mejor de los Bharata.»
