हवींषि सर्वाणि यथा हुपभुड्धक्ते हुताशन: । एवं त्वमपि धर्मात्मन् पुरुषाग्नि: प्रतापवान्
havīṁṣi sarvāṇi yathā hutabhug bhakṣate hutāśanaḥ | evaṁ tvam api dharmātman puruṣāgniḥ pratāpavān ||
Dijo Vyāsa: «Así como el dios del fuego, devorador de oblaciones, consume toda ofrenda vertida en él, así también tú, oh de alma justa—poderoso y llameante como un “fuego entre los hombres”—tienes la fuerza de quemar nuestras faltas y vicios».
