नासां स्नेहो नरै: कार्यस्तथैवेष्ष्या जनेश्वर । खेदमास्थाय भुज्जीत धर्ममास्थाय चैव ह

Transliteration

Vipula uvāca: nāsāṃ sneho naraiḥ kāryas tathaiveṣyā janeśvara | khedam āsthāya bhuñjīta dharmam āsthāya caiva ha | anṛtāv iha parvādidoṣavarja narādhipa ||

Translation

Vipula dijo: «Oh señor de los hombres, un hombre no debe apegarse en exceso a las mujeres ni albergar celos hacia ellas. Manteniendo el desapego interior y refugiándose en el dharma, debe gozar de la unión conyugal sólo en la estación apropiada, después de la purificación prescrita, evitando faltas como el trato carnal en días prohibidos y otras transgresiones».
