Tīrtha-vaṃśa Upadeśa: Instruction on the Fruits of Sacred Waters
अकल्ककस्य विप्रस्य रौक्ष्यात् करकृतात्मन: । वटवो यस्य भिक्षन्ति तेभ्यो दत्त महाफलम्
akalkakasya viprasya raukṣyāt karakṛtātmanaḥ | vaṭavo yasya bhikṣanti tebhyo dattaṃ mahāphalam ||
Dijo Bhishma: Cuando un brāhmaṇa sin engaño, endurecido por la extrema pobreza, recibe en sus manos un poco de alimento y sus hijos hambrientos le suplican al instante: «Dame, dame», la dádiva ofrecida a ese brāhmaṇa y a esos niños produce un fruto espiritual inmenso.
