विदितो भगवानस्य कार्यमागमनस्य यत् । पश्यैनं त्वं महाभागं ज्वलन्तमिव तेजसा,“आपका आगमन और इस आगमनका जो उद्देश्य है, वह सब कुछ कुबेरको पहलेसे ही ज्ञात है। देखिये, ये महाभाग धनाध्यक्ष अपने तेजसे प्रकाशित होते हुए आ रहे हैं'
vidito bhagavān asya kāryam āgamanasya yat | paśyainaṃ tvaṃ mahābhāgaṃ jvalantam iva tejasā |
Dijo Bhīṣma: «Kubera, el Señor de las riquezas, ya conoce de antemano tu llegada y el propósito de esta venida. Mira: ese ilustre Kubera, tesorero de los dioses, se acerca, fulgurante como si ardiera en su propia luz».
