(Rudra-Stavarāja) — Exempla of Śiva’s Boons and the Hymn’s Phalaśruti
Single-minded devotion to Śiva, expressed through faithful recitation of his hymn, can grant the same ultimate spiritual attainment that is otherwise reached through the demanding disciplines of Sāṅkhya (liberating knowledge) and Yoga (meditative practice).
Vāyudeva concludes with a result-statement (phalaśruti): he declares the spiritual fruit of reciting the Śiva-stotra—namely, that the devotee attains the highest goal comparable to that of accomplished Sāṅkhya-knowers and yogins.
