vaiśampāyana uvāca | dhṛtarāṣṭraṃ puraskṛtya gāndhārīṃ ca yaśasvinīm | mātaraṃ ca pṛthāṃ dhīmān bhrātṝṃś ca puruṣarṣabhān, vibho | kurukulānandano buddhimān yudhiṣṭhiro rājā dhṛtarāṣṭraṃ yaśasvinīṃ gāndhārīṃ devīṃ mātaraṃ kuntīṃ tathā puruṣapravarān bhrātṝn agre kṛtvā paścāt bhagavān śrīkṛṣṇo buddhimān viduro yuyutsuḥ sātyakiś ca saha gacchanti sma |
Dijo Vaiśampāyana: Poniendo a Dhṛtarāṣṭra al frente, y también a la ilustre Gāndhārī, y a su madre Pṛthā (Kuntī), junto con los hermanos, toros entre los hombres—oh poderoso—el rey Yudhiṣṭhira, sabio orgullo de la estirpe Kuru, avanzó haciendo que ellos encabezaran la marcha; y tras ellos seguían el Bienaventurado Śrī Kṛṣṇa, el prudente Vidura, Yuyutsu y Sātyaki.
