महता राजभोगेन पारिबर्ेण संवृत: । स्तूयमानो महातेजा भीष्मस्याग्नीननुव्रजन्
mahātā rājabhogena pāribarheṇa saṁvṛtaḥ | stūyamāno mahātejā bhīṣmasyāgnīn anuvrajan ||
Dijo Vaiśaṃpāyana: Rodeado por un gran séquito real y colmado de abundantes goces propios de un rey, el monarca resplandeciente avanzó entre alabanzas, siguiendo las hogueras sagradas establecidas por Bhīṣma—manteniéndolas al frente y caminando él detrás conforme al debido orden ceremonial.
