rājan prakṛtim āpannaḥ kururājo yudhiṣṭhiraḥ | sahito bhrātṛbhiḥ sarvaḥ pārthivaiś cānuyāyibhiḥ ||
Dijo Vaiśampāyana: «Oh Rey, Yudhiṣṭhira, soberano de los Kurus, ha recobrado ya su natural compostura—sereno y libre de dudas. Acompañado de todos sus hermanos y seguido por los reyes aliados y sus asistentes, está aquí sentado a tu servicio. Por tanto, concédeles licencia para partir hacia Hastināpura».
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights the ethical ideal of restored inner balance after turmoil: a righteous king should act from steadiness (prakṛti-stha), follow proper protocol, and seek orderly closure—requesting permission and proceeding without agitation or doubt.
Vaiśampāyana informs the addressed king that Yudhiṣṭhira has become calm and settled, is present with his brothers and accompanying kings in attendance, and is ready to be formally permitted to leave for Hastināpura.
