वक्ष्ये यदुकुलश्रेष्ठ शृणुष्वावहितो मम । वरयैनं भवं देवं भक्तस्त्वं परमेश्वरम्
vakṣye yadukulaśreṣṭha śṛṇuṣvāvahito mama | varayainaṁ bhavaṁ devaṁ bhaktas tvaṁ parameśvaram ||
Dijo Vāyu: «Oh el mejor del linaje de los Yadu, escúchame con atención. Yo te lo declararé. Elige y abraza a Bhava (Śiva), este Señor divino, pues eres un devoto adorador del Señor supremo. Por tanto, acepta este himno centrado en Śiva y óyelo con cuidado de mi boca».
