मन्थानो बहुलो वायु: सकल: सर्वलोचन: । तलस्ताल: करस्थाली ऊर्ध्वसंहननो महान्
manthāno bahulo vāyuḥ sakalaḥ sarvalocanaḥ | talastālaḥ karasthālī ūrdhvasaṃhanano mahān ||
Dijo Vāyu-deva: «Él es un viento poderoso que bate y remueve el mundo, el gran viento del tiempo de la disolución; completo en todas las potencias, que todo lo ve. Marca el ritmo golpeando su propia palma, usa sus manos como vasija para comer, es de cuerpo recio y compacto, de porte erguido, y es verdaderamente grande.»
