निवेदन: सुखाजात: सुगन्धारो महाधनु: । गन्धपाली च भगवानुत्थान: सर्वकर्मणाम्
nivedanaḥ sukhājātaḥ sugandhāro mahādhanuḥ | gandhapālī ca bhagavān utthānaḥ sarvakarmaṇām ||
Dijo Vāyu: «Él es el llamado Nivedana: libre de toda modificación mental y asentado en el puro conocer; Sukha-jāta: manifestado como dicha cuando cesan todas las fluctuaciones; Sugandhāra: dotado de la fragancia más excelsa; Mahā-dhanuḥ: portador del gran arco Pināka; y Bhagavān Gandha-pālī: Señor y guardián del noble perfume. También es el Utthāna de todas las acciones, la fuente de la que todo acto surge y por la que se sostiene.»
वायुदेव उवाच
The verse praises the Lord through epithets that link inner spiritual realization (knowledge beyond mental fluctuations, bliss arising when vṛttis subside) with cosmic lordship (bearer of Pināka) and causality (the foundation from which all actions arise). Ethically, it frames devotion as recognizing the divine as both the inner ground of consciousness and the outer source of ordered action.
Vāyu is speaking a eulogy-like description, listing names/attributes of the deity. The sequence functions as a devotional identification: the Lord is characterized by spiritual qualities (stillness, bliss), auspicious signs (fragrance), iconic weaponry (great bow), protective power, and as the originating basis of all karmic activity.
