स्प्रक्ष्यन्ति पुण्यगन्धा च कृष्णमाराधयिष्यसि । फिर मुनिने रुक्मिणीसे भी प्रसन्नतापूर्वक कहा--“शोभने! तुम सम्पूर्ण स्त्रियोंमें उत्तम यश और लोकमें सर्वोत्तम कीर्ति प्राप्त करोगी। भामिनि! तुम्हें बुढ़ापा या रोग अथवा कान्तिहीनता आदि दोष नहीं छू सकेंगे। तुम पवित्र सुगन्धसे सुवासित होकर श्रीकृष्णकी आराधना करोगी

Transliteration

spṛkṣyanti puṇyagandhā ca kṛṣṇam ārādhayiṣyasi |

Translation

Dijo Vāyu-deva: «Un perfume santo se aferrará a ti, y adorarás a Kṛṣṇa con reverencia.» En su contexto, la bendición anuncia amparo moral y espiritual: la pureza (simbolizada por la fragancia auspiciosa) y la devoción firme se presentan como frutos de la virtud, de modo que las condiciones degradantes no pueden “tocar” al devoto.
