Transliteration

bhīṣma uvāca | anirviṇṇaḥ sthaviṣṭho 'bhūd dharmayūpo mahāmakhaḥ | nakṣatranemir nakṣatrī kṣamaḥ kṣāmaḥ samīhanaḥ ||

Translation

Dijo Bhīṣma: Está libre de desaliento y de mudanza, asentado en la vasta forma cósmica; no nacido, pilar del dharma y encarnación del gran sacrificio. Es el eje en torno al cual giran las constelaciones, señor de los astros (la Luna); capaz en toda empresa, el suelo perdurable donde reposan los mundos, y quien quiere y se afana por la creación y el ordenamiento de la existencia.
