सुप्रसाद: प्रसन्नात्मा विश्वधृग विश्वभुग् विभु: । सत्कर्ता सत्कृत: साधुर्जह्लुनरायणो नर:
suprasādaḥ prasannātmā viśvadhṛg viśvabhug vibhuḥ | satkartā satkṛtaḥ sādhur jahlur nārāyaṇo naraḥ ||
Dijo Bhīṣma: Él es supremamente misericordioso y de ánimo siempre sereno; sostiene al mundo entero y lo nutre, omnipresente y soberano. Honra a sus devotos, y Él mismo es honrado aun por los más venerables; lleva a cumplimiento la obra de los justos, recoge a los seres en el tiempo de la disolución, reposa sobre las aguas cósmicas como Nārāyaṇa, y como Nara conduce a sus devotos a la morada suprema.
