पूतात्मा परमात्मा च मुक्तानां परमा गति: । अव्यय: पुरुष: साक्षी क्षेत्रज्ञो5क्षर एव च
pūtātmā paramātmā ca muktānāṁ paramā gatiḥ | avyayaḥ puruṣaḥ sākṣī kṣetrajño 'kṣara eva ca ||
Dijo Bhīṣma: Él es el Sí mismo puro y también el Sí mismo supremo; para los liberados, Él es la meta más alta. Es imperecedero: el Puruṣa que mora en el cuerpo; el Testigo que todo lo ve sin obstáculo. Es el Conocedor del campo (cuerpo y naturaleza), y en verdad el Akṣara, el que no decae.
