Bhīṣma’s Yogic Departure, Royal Cremation, and Gaṅgā’s Lament (भीष्मस्य योगयुक्त्या देहत्यागः, पितृमेधः, गङ्गाविलापः)
व्यभ्रं च गगनं सद्यः क्षणेन समपद्यत । तीर्थयात्रां ततो विप्रा जग्मुश्नान्ये यथागतम्
vyabhraṃ ca gaganaṃ sadyaḥ kṣaṇena samapadyata | tīrthayātrāṃ tato viprā jagmuḥ anye yathāgatam ||
Nārada dijo: «Y de inmediato, en un solo instante, el cielo quedó despejado—sin nubes. Entonces los brāhmaṇas partieron de allí en peregrinación a los tīrthas sagrados, mientras los demás regresaron tal como habían venido.»
