दीनान्धकृपणान्‌ दृष्टवा भिक्षुकानतिथीनपि । याच्यमाना निवर्तन्ते जिह्वालोभसमन्विता:

Transliteration

dīnāndhakṛpaṇān dṛṣṭvā bhikṣukān atithīn api | yācyamānā nivartante jihvālobhasamanvitāḥ ||

Translation

Al ver a los desamparados, a los ciegos y a los miserables—mendigos e incluso huéspedes—se apartan. Aunque aquellos supliquen, movidos por la codicia de los placeres de la lengua, no les dan alimento.
