Discerning Dharma in Accord with Time

Educational Q&A

One should live on sustenance gained through dharma—without coveting others’ property and without immoral sexual conduct; such disciplined, righteous living leads to svarga.

Śrīmahēśvara is giving a moral instruction within Anuśāsana Parva, stating the spiritual result (going to heaven) for those who eat only what is righteously obtained.
