वननित्यैर्वनचरैर्वनस्थैर्वनगोचरै: । वन॑ गुरुमिवासाद्य वस्तव्यं वनजीविभि:

Transliteration

vananityair vanacarair vanasthair vanagocaraiḥ | vanaṁ gurum ivāsādya vastavyaṁ vanajīvibhiḥ ||

Translation

Mahādeva dijo: «Quienes viven del bosque deben tener al bosque por morada constante: moverse en él, habitar en él y seguir sus senderos. Acercándose al bosque como se acerca uno a un gurú, deben tomar refugio en él y sostener allí su vida».
