Śatarudrīya-prabhāva and Rudra’s Supremacy (शतरुद्रीयप्रभावः)
जनश्न विमना: सर्वो5भवत् त्राससमन्वित: । निमीलिते भूतपतौ नष्टसूर्य इवाभवत्
janaḥ sa vimanaḥ sarvo 'bhavat trāsasamanvitaḥ | nimīlite bhūtapatau naṣṭasūrya ivābhavat ||
Dijo Nārada: Entonces todos los hombres quedaron abatidos y el temor se apoderó de ellos. Cuando el Señor de los seres cerró los ojos, el mundo pareció como si el sol mismo hubiera desaparecido—sumido en una oscuridad nacida del espanto y de la pérdida del orden protector.
