Śiva-nāmānukīrtana-prastāvaḥ
Prologue to the praise of Śiva and the Upamanyu testimony
विना भर्त्रां च रुद्रेण भविष्यति न संशय: । वंशे तवैव नाम्ना तु ख्यातिं यास्यति चेप्सिताम्
vinā bhartrāṁ ca rudreṇa bhaviṣyati na saṁśayaḥ | vaṁśe tavaiva nāmnā tu khyātiṁ yāsyati cepsitām ||
Dijo Vāsudeva: «Sin esposo —y por obra de Rudra— así sucederá; no hay duda. En tu propio linaje, el hijo alcanzará la fama que deseas, y esa fama quedará asociada a tu mismo nombre».
