Śiva-nāmānukīrtana-prastāvaḥ
Prologue to the praise of Śiva and the Upamanyu testimony
अर्थात् प्रियतरत्वं च सर्वलोकेषु वै तदा । प्राप्तवानेव राजेन्द्र सुवर्णक्षान्महेश्वरात्
arthāt priyataratvaṃ ca sarvalokeṣu vai tadā | prāptavāneva rājendra suvarṇakṣān maheśvarāt, bharatanandana |
Dijo Bhishma: Así pues, oh rey, entonces alcanzó el estado de ser el más amado en todos los mundos—como si lo hubiera recibido del propio Maheshvara. Oh gozo de los Bharatas, se cuenta que en tiempos antiguos, tras complacer a Mahadeva en el ashrama de Badarī, Krishna recibió del gran Señor, dotado de visión divina, una predilección superior a todo logro; por ello llegó a ser el más amado de todos los seres en cada reino.
