Conduct of the Virtuous Wife
इति वेदोक्तमृषिभि: पुरस्तात् परिकल्पितम् | इदानीं चैव न: कृत्यं पुरस्ताच्च परिश्रुतम्
iti vedoktam ṛṣibhiḥ purastāt parikalpitam | idānīṃ caiva naḥ kṛtyaṃ purastāc ca pariśrutam ||
«Así fue establecido desde antiguo por los videntes, conforme al Veda. Nosotros también lo hemos oído desde tiempos remotos, y aun ahora es nuestro deber cumplir este mandato védico.»
