मानसतीर्थ-शौचप्रशंसा | Praise of the ‘Mental Tīrtha’ and the Marks of Purity

उसमें स्फटिक और वज्रसारमणिके खम्भे लगे होते हैं। उसपर सुन्दर ढंगसे बनी हुई वेदी शोभा पाती है तथा वहाँ हंस और सारस पक्षी कलरव करते रहते हैं। ऐसे विशाल विमानपर चढ़ता और स्वच्छन्द घूमता है ।।

ekādaśe tu divase yaḥ prāpte prāśate haviḥ | sadā dvādaśa-māsāṁs tu juhvāno jātavedasam ||

Bhishma dijo: «En él hay pilares de cristal y columnas de gema dura como el vajra. Sobre él resplandece un altar (vedi) bellamente construido, y allí los cisnes y los sārasas no cesan de cantar. Sube a ese vasto vimāna y se desplaza libremente. Quien, al llegar el undécimo día, participa del havi (la porción de la ofrenda), y quien durante doce meses ofrece sin cesar al Agni Jātavedas—ese observante disciplinado alcanza el fruto de una práctica ritual sostenida.»
