मानसतीर्थ-शौचप्रशंसा | Praise of the ‘Mental Tīrtha’ and the Marks of Purity
सदा द्वादशमासान् वै सत्यव्रतपरायण: । तस्य लोका: शुभा दिव्या देवराजर्षिपूजिता:
sadā dvādaśa-māsān vai satya-vrata-parāyaṇaḥ | tasya lokāḥ śubhā divyā deva-rāja-ṛṣi-pūjitāḥ ||
Bhishma dice: Quien, a lo largo de los doce meses, permanece firmemente entregado al voto de la verdad alcanza mundos auspiciosos y divinos: reinos honrados y venerados por los dioses, los rishis reales y los rishis celestiales. El énfasis ético es que la veracidad sostenida, guardada como voto disciplinado con el paso del tiempo, se vuelve causa directa de una elevada realización espiritual y de honor entre los órdenes más altos de los seres.
